  • Excuse me? This kanji includes Saturday and Sunday, but the concept of weekday (which would actually be 平日) does not! Why does it have to be so misleading? Ill use day of the week as a keyword instead. Every day of the week begins when the sun 日 comes out and ends when you lay down on your futon 翟. If you do insist on weekday (not recommended), an alternative STORY: On weekdays 日 I sleep on my futon 翟, but on the weekend I go to my parents place and sleep in a comfy bed.
