What is SRS (Spaced Repetition System)
We have been talking about SRS a lot, but what is an SRS, and how do we use this? SRS stands for Spaced Repetition System. It's a system that helps you learn over time. The goal of an SRS system is to show you an item just before your brain starts to forget it.
The better you remember this item, the longer it will be until the question comes up for another review. If you keep getting a question wrong, the time between your studies will go down, meaning you'll need to review this item more often to make sure you don't forget it again. This is well-known as one of the most effective ways to make a brain memorize something.
